Our 1941 heritage wooden Tugboat, the MV Parry is lovingly maintained and beautifully appointed with comfortable two berth cabins, fireside lounge, spotless bathrooms and showers plus a busy galley serving unbelievable food and desserts.
Creature comforts are provided with bathrobes, extra pillows, hairdryers and a complimentary selection of wines from around the world.
Guests are encouraged to visit the pilot house and take a turn at the wheel or a tour of the spotless engine room and watch the smooth operation of this antique engines.

Everything you’ll need for your saltwater fishing trip is provided with your WestWind Tugboat adventure including a valid fishing license. Our state of the art fishing skiffs are 18 foot welded catamarans, equipped with whisper quiet Honda 4 stroke outboards, radios and fish finders. Our skiffs are designed to comfortably accommodate 2 or 3 anglers safely.

- Light and medium duty salmon fishing rods and reels
- Light and medium spin casting rods and reels and lures suitable for salt and fresh water
- A complete inventory of halibut and bottom fishing rods and tackle

BC’s Northern Coast and Queen Charlotte Islands
These impressive salmon are world famous and reach weights upwards of 90 lbs. The Coho salmon runs are strong, large and abundant with the peak time from mid May through July.
The wildlife is abundant and the scenery ranges from glacier capped fiords and passages to the sandy beaches and rocky shores of the outer islands. Langara Island rests at the Northwest tip of the Queen Charlotte Islands (Haidi Gwaii) and is a rugged remote location.
Prince Rupert is a picturesque small city and guests may arrive via air from Vancouver, ferry from Port Hardy on Northern Vancouver Island or via train through the magnificent Rocky and Coastal mountains.

Wildlife is in abundance as we cruise close to the shoreline bringing you and your camera close enough to feel the experience. Whales and porpoises play in the bow waves as we gaze at waterfalls and dine on the best cuisine.
The picturesque anchorages provide sightings of bears and the sounds of wild wolf packs howling at the starry night. Some guests have been lucky enough to spot the elusive “Spirit Bear” on our trips that take us through the waters of the Great Bear Rainforest.
Each day is a complete adventure – activities include wilderness hikes through coastal forests to peaceful lakes, clam digging, setting crab traps, beachcombing, exploring coastal streams and rivers via shore and skiffs.
You can visit abandoned canneries, museums, totem sights and communities.
